boat hire in Ajaccio · Beneteau — Oceanis 35.1 (2021)

We sailed from Ajaccio to Sardinia in 5 days. Nabil (UNI Bateaux) our contact is a good professional who listens to his customers! However, blankets would have been welcome on board, given that we had taken the sheet package (€25/team member in total). Furthermore, I don't understand why we pay the cleaning package at the start??? What's more, we were charged €300, whereas on the UNI Bateaux flyer it is clearly indicated in black and white that it is €200 for the habitable boats less than 12.00 meters!!! But we had a Dufour 35.1!!! We "benefited" from a rate for boats over 13m and/or Catamarans!!! NOT NORMAL...

We spent a dream long weekend aboard Zanzibar. Departing from Ajaccio, we reached the Gulf of Girolata with its majestic view of the Scandola reserve and the creeks of Piana. The team was exceptional at the start and at the finish. We were very well received, complete and very professional presentation of the boat. I highly recommend this boat and the Uni team for your holidays in Corsica.

We were very well received by the whole Uni Location team and in particular thanks to Greg, the handling of the boat was a pleasant moment and Greg was very available online during the whole stay for any small concerns. A surprising point for us is the deposit which is returned only 3 weeks after the end of the contract. Otherwise Uni Charter is very professional, the boat is well maintained and very comfortable. Thanks again to the whole team.

Very nice new Océanis offered by UNI Location. Some essential points to settle: minimum safety equipment and not in accordance with the regulations (the contract stipulates coastal navigation 6 miles from the coast so the vests are 100 N vs 150N ... which is not possible for a sailboat), no bolt cutter in the event of dismasting, no binoculars, no map, compass, Cras ruler in the event of electronic damage ... There remains the interior equipment which also needs to be completed: bucket, broom, mugs, dishes, thrifty…. are terribly lacking. The welcome and kindness of the UNI employees makes you forget all that, but these are points that must be resolved. UNI is a specialist recognized for its professionalism for motor boats, it must be understood that the material needs are different for sailboats and renters of sailing boats. Finally, the price - high - of compulsory cleaning to be paid on boarding must be included in the initial price… it is the bad surprise of the 1st day!

LAMENTABLE! The boat did not correspond at all to the description of the advertisement and the agency shows a bad time without a name when we allow ourselves to point it out. No equipment on board, not even a pan to cook! it is up to customers to buy the equipment to equip the boat ... Once the boat has been paid for, the agency informs you that it is mandatory to take a post cruise cleaning fee of 200 euros! it is shameful to treat customers like this! I strongly advise against going through Click&Boat or UNI rental to rent a boat! These people are just sharks and scratch every dime that's lying around
