Big Fish is a large, elegant, and spacious catamaran. Ideal for outings with friends, families, and even corporate events. It can accommodate up to 30 passengers. The boat is incredibly comfortable, with a dining area at the stern where everyone can sit and enjoy a snack on board. At the bow, there are two nets where you can relax while sailing, as if you were floating on the sea. The boat includes everything you need for a perfect day! A captain, a crew member, port fees at Marina Vela Barcelona, water, complimentary snacks, and an open bar with local wine, cava, and beer. The boat also features an amazing sound system and access to Spotify Premium. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen and one bathroom. We booked a catamaran with ThisisMed in Barcelona for my husband’s 50th birthday. We paid €5,453 for a 6-hour private sail with BBQ and open bar, plus €100 to Click&Boat for weather guarantee insurance. Leading up to the trip, communication and organisation were great and we were looking forward to a fabulous day. However when we boarded the catamaran the weather was rough—making the trip turbulent and unsafe. ThisisMed chose to proceed even though the skipper said the previous day had been equally awful. Everyone on board became seasick. One of the crew members was vomiting and too sick to work. Everything we paid for went untouched: the remaining crewmember attempted to cook the BBQ but gave up; the meat fell to the floor, vegetables were not cooked, fruit and sides were not served. None of the beer or wine was opened. We returned to port 1.5 hours earlier than planned. While I understand that weather cannot be controlled, ThisisMed should have used better judgment and cancelled the trip. As a result, the service we paid for was not delivered. I requested a fair refund for the food/drinks and lost sailing time, but ThisisMed refused to offer more than a 10% refund on the sailing and 20% on the food and beverages. This response was disappointing and not in line with the professional standards expected from a company operating in such a popular destination. We will not be using ThisisMed again.
It would have been ideal to do a shorter cruise but be able to stop and take a really quick dip. The speakers were also quite weak and it was hard to hear the music. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful, the boat was in good condition and very pretty, and the services aboard were good.

We hired the boat for 20 people for 3 hours for a post wedding party and had the most amazing time. The boat was better than expected, very clean and very spacious. The crew were amazing, very attentive, lovely people and no requests were too much trouble for them. Everyone single guest had a great time and we wish that we would have booked for more hours, would definitely recommend to friends / family or book again if we come back to Barcelona!
