Sailing in Croatia is amazing. We enjoyed it a lot. However our week was disrupted by issues with the boat. The boat itself was great but you could feel it’s been used quite a lot. The check in was minimal and we had a few essentials missing from the kitchen. When we asked for them, they responded quickly to our requests except for an issue which we had reported before leaving but which they did not investigate and only said it would be resolved by emptying the waste tank on the way, which en the end was not. We had to deal with a very bad smell for quite a while and met with a service partner on Vis so he could fix the issue. The service partner was amazing and he fixed everything we needed to fix, but we ended up spending in total 1.5 day of our time dealing with this issue instead of enjoying ourselves. We were offered a resolution for our trouble, which we accepted and appreciated. All in all, our learning is that we should have inspected the boat more thoroughly before leaving and insisted on fixing the waste management issue before we cast off.
