Good morning, We offer you for rental our First 25 lifting keel, available from La Trinité sur Mer. It sleeps 4 as well as a small kitchen (sink and stove). ** Between July and August: weekly rental only. Check-in on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Check-out Saturday at 8:00 a.m. ** The rest of the year: rental for a minimum of 2 days. *** Not included in the price: - Fuel, food, gas, transfer, - Final cleaning: €70 - Shipping costs to ports other than the one of departure - Insurance (cancellation guarantee, excess redemption guarantee) *** Deposit: to be paid on site, by credit card only (Visa or Mastercard)

It didn't go well. The weather forecast was very unfavorable when I was supposed to board the boat, and I couldn't reach C&B to clarify the cancellation policy due to weather. Their 24/7 assistance promise is a sham; they apologize, but that's all. In reality, C&B subcontracts the rental to another, local, rental platform. In case of a problem, they pass the buck, making it impossible to know the actual cancellation options. Since the money had already been taken before I signed the contract with the local platform, C&B told me afterward that I shouldn't have signed, given the unfavorable weather... Rescheduling was also impossible. In the end, I was only able to use the boat for two days out of a five-day rental. That's an expensive day...!
When we arrived, the headsail was missing from the boat, we learned that it was being repaired in a sailmaker. Alternative Yachting found us a replacement jib, but this caused a 2-hour delay in setting sail, in addition the replacement jib turned out to be too small which made the boat very arduous with quite a few departures to the luff.
Very warm welcome, the sailboat is clean with complete equipment, very clear handling. A great, very professional team!
