We had a great experience. Fantastic tuition and felt very safe, despite quite rough seas and high winds. Miguel was very calm and good fun, putting children and inexperienced sailors at ease, while providing great tips and advice to improve sailing techniques for more experienced sailors. Thank you.

I gave this as a wedding present to my sister. She and her family had an amazing time. Miguel took them to various amazing spots where they could dive and see spectacular views. Miguel was very responsive to all the questions and requests we had and the experience couldn’t had been better.

We rented the boat at the beginning of January 2023. The boat is clean and well maintained. Miguel is a professional captain but also a very charming and interesting person. We sailed a lot far to the sea and stayed anchored in calm remote bays at the though of the island. Unforgettable experience!

Miguel allowed us to do most of the sailing, while giving guidance as we weren’t used to the Atlantic swell. The boat was clean and everything worked. Lunch was great too! A lovely guy and a fantastic charter.

Miguel is an amazing captain who literally made us feel comfortable even while my friend was sea sick. He looked after her and made us get into water. Provided food and drink for us so in overall he is an amazing person

We (a group of 6 from Albania, Sweden, France and Italy) had such a great sailing experience with Miguel. Went rented the boat and the skipper (Miguel) for 7 days around the island of Las Palmas and mostly stayed at Puerto de Mogan where we did small sailing trips towards the south. Fantastic vibe and atmosphere in the boat as we learned how to sail, learned how to navigate the boat, anchored the boat in different bays etc. Moreover, great communication with Miguel as we also made him our Spanish professor. We found that Miguel was very flexible with the plan and was open to discussing plans for our enjoyment on the boat. Highly recommended but you need to know at least a bit of Spanish to have fun.

We had an awesome 4-day trip around Gran Canaria with Miguel on his beautiful boat. Miguel is a really great guy and made us feel at home from the beginning. He is extremely experienced and knows the area very well, so we felt very safe all the time. If you want to sail yourself, he will be happy to let you, but if not, you can just sit back and relax, he takes care of everything. If you speak Spanish it makes things even easier. Thanks a lot Miguel for the great trip! :)

Truly great day sailing in the North of the Island. I took a party of 6; there were two children (11 years) and 4 adults in total. I was the only guest with substantial sailing experience but everyone had a wonderful time. The boat is very well maintained and gives a responsive, well balanced sail. She was equally happy in the calm as she was with 22 knots on the nose. The single wheel is large and light. She is clean and hand gel etc is available. Miguel is an outstanding skipper. He is kind and calm and supervises from a distance. We all felt very safe and happy with him on board. He was great with the children and trusted me with the helm of his boat even as the wind picked up. He trimmed the main and Genoa, and put reefs in both with ease as we sailed. If you love sailing you must charter this boat with Miguel. My party and I had a superb day that I will never forget. Thank you, Miguel!

Whilst the the boat was beautiful from a visual aspect, Miguel took us in the middle of the Atlantic sea in rough weather with no idea where the the life jackets are from a safely aspect it’s extremely worrying and I strongly recommend only this trip for people who what an extreme sailing experience in the ocean. If you want to relax this is not the trip for you. For English speakers Miguel had a translator who was inappropriate and made my guest feel uncomfortable with flirtatious remarks and boarder line sexual harassment. Perhaps Miguel didn’t understand this with the language barrier himself. Miguels translator told us that he knew Miguel though a mutual friend and was just helping him out as a favour and didn’t know him very well. He didn’t contribute anything to the trip Appart from making us feel claustrophobic on such a small boat. The moment we got on board Miguel was making it an issue to eat food at the table on plates. I understand some boat owners and skippers prefer to do things them selves than us guest be in the kitchen area and that’s fine but neither seemed to be good for Miguel. We asked for a relaxing few hours to do a typical trip so go somewhere close to the marina so enjoy the sky line and take pictures and have a glass of wine. However there where other plans, we where taken in to the ocean about one hour and thirty minutes away to an extreme sailing adventure with no life jackets or any idea of what to do with a safety aspect as the boat felt at points like we where about to topple over. Once we arrived back 1 hour early due to passengers being traumatised with the health and safety Miguel then sat outside drinking a beer. Which is unheard of for a boat owner and skipper during the time with passengers. I do wonder if he found it humorous of us being so concerned. Miguel is clearly an experienced solo sailer however from a health and safety point of view this wasn’t an acceptable trip for passengers. Having Chartered motor boats and sail boats and having family who own a motor boats I’m aware this wasn’t an acceptable trip. I hope some changes are made if any other passages book for there next trips.

Miguel maintained fluid and transparent communication from the beginning. He showed us the boat and we set sail. We will repeat again.

Communication with Miguel has been very fluid since I hired him. He has been very kind in answering all the questions we asked him. He taught us how to connect the dots, told us anecdotes and even let us steer the helm. Furthermore, I never hesitate to change course when I get dizzy. At the anchorage to take a bath he left us complete freedom to be all over the boat. For us he was a great host. Totally recommended

Miguel took us sailing for more than 1 hour and we felt quite dizzy... The intention was good but the experience was disastrous. Then we anchor at Alcaravaneras beach right next to the port of Las Palmas, it is not the idyllic place to anchor with a sailboat since that beach is one of the dirtiest because of the gasoline from ships and industry. Honestly the price was excessive for the experience we received. €640 for 5 hours, of which 1 and a half were unsuccessful and the rest was at the comfort of the skipper regardless of the group's opinion... I don't recommend it.

Miguel was great! Prompt communication, he explained everything clearly. He was super laid back! Let us sail right away, had delicious sandwiches and drinks on board. Beautiful boat that is super maintained and super clean! We recommend him 100% on! On his boat and with him as skipper we had a great sailing day!!!
