boat hire in Le Marin · Beneteau — Oceanis 461 (2000)
Description of Marcello's sailboat
Sailboat Beneteau Oceanis 461 13.6m
The Oceanis 461 was one of the great successes of Beneteau. the design of the Bruce Farr hull guarantees speed on the water while the cruise rigging makes it a very easy to carry boat. the large internal dimensions guarantee comfort for 8 people while the warm tone of the woods ensures a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. The large water tanks (850 liters) and Diesel (200 liters) allow long Caribbean cruises in total autonomy. Tara Maria is still my personal boat that I use every winter in the Caribbean and is kept with maniacal care. last year we completed the complete tour of the Caribbean Sea, sailing between Grenada, Curacao, Santo Domingo, Puerto Rico and the Virgins. The port of Marin, where Tara Maria is located, in addition to being the undisputed capital of the Caribbean nautical, is also the ideal starting point for cruises to the North (Guadeloupe, Antigua, St Barth) and the South to St Lucia and the Grenadines. The rental price excludes additional fuel costs, galley and possible moorings. Do not hesitate to contact me on Click & Boat for more information!

Tara Maria is an old beautiful lady which hosted the guests in the best way she could. She has a few technical issues although they have no direct effect on the safety of the trip. Tara Maria provides you the opportunity to sail around the lovely Caribbean islands with a very affordable price. We recommend this beautiful boat to the passionate experienced sailors who want to to have a great time in the equatorial area. You will love it.
Value for money. Comunitation with Marcello the owner perfect.
Everything was ok, Marcello responded on all our questions quickly. We are very setisfied.
Our crew of 4 spent two great sailing weeks on board of the Tara Maria and enjoyed the space and the comfortable handling. It is obvious that this is an owner equipped yacht with a personal touch and almost all necessary equipment. It is not a new boat but everything worked fine and the boat was in good working condition and safe. We had been informed that the GPS plotter was removed for repair and that the paper charts were outdated but we used our own navigational equipment and this was ok. Tips and information from the owner before the journey were very helpful, welcome on board, instructions and return of the boat were smooth and easy going. My crew and I thank Marcello and Luc for the boat and the good time we had on board! Jan
We really enjoyed our time on the Tara Maria. It was well equipped, in good condition, and an excellent overall value.
After having already rented Tara Maria for 2 weeks in January 2020, I have just renewed the experience with a crew of 8 people for a 2-week cruise, heading for St Vincent and its wonderful Grenadines. Tara Maria is a good boat, functional (everything you need on board for cooking, snorkeling, etc.) and still as seaworthy. We had fairly strong winds and returned to the North close-hauled, about a hundred NM with winds regularly reaching Force 7 established. The boat behaved well and shows very correct performances for this kind of "caravan". 7 to 8 knots downwind and about 6 knots close-hauled, at 45° to the wind. After all these lovely compliments, please also be aware that Tara Maria is a boat that is now 25 years old and is rented out a lot... It therefore logically shows some signs of wear and requires a little attention... But Luc, the on-site manager, is remarkably available and responsive. His answers are as friendly as they are relevant and it is always a pleasure to deal with him. And then, for such a price, when compared with professional charter companies that can display prices ranging from double to triple for this size of boat, we can say that the value for money is excellent. I wish fair winds to all those who will sail this boat that I appreciate very much. Thank you Marcello and Luc and I look forward to our next exchanges!
Very nice holiday on the Tara Maria. The sailing yacht is completely seaworthy. Very good support from Luc Couch. Would gladly go again. Best regards, Richter
Tara Maria is an old boat but very seaworthy and well maintained. The sails are almost new (2 years old). We spent 2 very good weeks on board. The engine allows you to do around 4 kts at 2200 rpm….it is better if there is wind. Luc who welcomes Le Marin is very friendly and Marcello answers all questions very quickly.
First rental experience with an owner's boat and I am disappointed. Certainly the price is attractive but the addition of details which do not pollute the pleasure of the cruise. . Marcello is attentive and responsive but unfortunately not on site. Luc is welcoming and professional but cannot resolve all the details in a few hours between two rentals. I will come back to the rental formula on my next cruise.
Great boat, great welcome and thank you Marcello for the trust.
I didn't leave a comment before because I didn't have time. Otherwise, the communication both with Marcello and with Luc excellent, nothing to say, excellent. The boat is what it is, a boat with 23 years, but unfortunately there are many, many things on board, but the main thing it is not, the absence of a plotter, out of use, overhaul of BIB expired for a year, leaks in the hull-deck junctions… . Finally the cruise went well, we went down to Union Island, the engine consumes 2.5 l/h at 2,500 rpm, a good surprise, but luckily we brought our plotter and a navigation software, otherwise with the navigation equipment on board it would be more difficult, not impossible but difficult. Finally, watch out for the sea bream on the bridge..... Thanks to Luc and Marcello for this availability and kindness.
The sailboat is extremely well suited to the Caribbean Sea and we have had some very nice cruises
Boat conforms in all respects to the announcement, contact with the owner super and welcome from Luc, boat manager, at the top!
Superb navigation, 8 aboard Tara Maria, well maintained with in particular her two new sails, which allowed us to obtain very significant speed peaks!
We sailed a 5 on Tara Maria from February 13 to 24, 2022 and discovered the Grenadines, a round trip of 240 miles. Tara Maria is a good cruising sailboat from the 2000s which therefore cannot be compared with a new sailboat but in good condition for its age. Thanks to Marcello its owner and to Luc who intervened to manage the departure and the return for their reactivity and their concern to allow us this very beautiful stay in the Caribbean. I recommend for those like me who want a boat with a reasonable budget and a relationship of trust between owner and tenant.
2 weeks on TARIA MARIA, well maintained, functional and easy to maneuver sailboat. good behavior in heavy weather. MARCELLO, the owner is very responsive and LUC, "the man on the ground" always present and very professional. -excellent memory of our cruise except for the restrictions linked to covid 19 in Guadeloupe and Dominica.
Super boat exceptional welcome. Go for it!
Two very nice weeks: wetting all the time, thanks to the large water capacity! Old but well maintained boat Impeccable cleanliness Well equipped Hardware a little tired And a great welcome from Luc and Marcello!
15 days between Saint Vincent - Grenadines, Saint Lucia and Martinique on Tara Maria for 8 people. Very nice, spacious sailboat. Huge reserve of fresh water, large fridge, good circulation in the saloon. Very pleasant to navigate. Around 8 knots on average from full to reach. A little less convincing upwind but still does the job well. Marcello (owner) and Luc (manager on site) are excellent contacts, pleasant and efficient. I will re-rent this 46-footer with great pleasure! I will miss the crystal clear waters and the light ... Good luck to you guys ...
The boat is in good condition. All the equipment is functional. At 5 on a 46 footer, we weren't cramped! Thank you again to Marcello and Luc for their interpersonal skills and advice. Our program was perfectly completed (Saint-Vincent and the Grenadines) over a period of 15 days. In short, we recommend this boat without any problem. And also all our thanks to Marion from Click'n Boat for her kindness and responsiveness.
Great boat and great contact with Marcello. I recommend Tara Maria to anyone who wants to sail the Caribbean.
Great stay aboard Tara Maria. Marcello is very kind and very accommodating. Luc the person who takes charge is very professional and took the time to explain to us how the boat works. Thanks again for this great cruise!
