Hello, A rather bad experience with this rental company. The boat was quite poorly maintained, several problems occurred during our two-week trip: - Defective alternator, therefore energy problems in the boat from the second day. - Numerous leaks, therefore a lot of water in the boat as soon as it rained: part of the saloon was not usable, the entire companionway was soaked and a berth was taking on water. - The genoa return pulley broke in the middle of the sail (force 3). It was already a repair but it had been poorly carried out. It was lucky that none of the children passed by the sheet at that time, it could have been dramatic. - Following the various energy problems, we did not have electric windlasses on some anchor lifts. The mechanical system did not work, so we had to haul the anchor on the fly. A 20kg anchor + 10m deep starts to pull hard. If the crew had been made up of people a little less physical we would not have been able to leave our anchorage, from a safety point of view it could have been quite dangerous (the weather changes quickly in the Mediterranean, it is important to be able to leave quickly from an anchorage if it becomes too uncomfortable). - the engine of the annex did not work, the rental company changed it after three days but given the price of the option (260€), it seems to me that partial compensation corresponding to the days not used would have been the least we could do. Conclusion: we had to adapt our stay according to our damage. We had to go to an overpriced port so that they could come and repair our alternator (and recharge our batteries). The main problem is that the management of the agency never wanted to respond to our requests for arrangements or compensation. We were only asking for a pro rata refund on our rental of the outboard motor and the reimbursement of the port, which represents barely 200€. Given the price of the rental and the price of the mandatory options to be added at the start, I think that it was a minimum that was not abused. I would not take it from this rental company again.
