Our group of 6 had an amazing time! Francesco and Angela were wonderful hosts and were super accommodating and generous. They are very warm and made everyone feel at ease. The boat is beautiful and everything we needed was on board. The food was a true highlight! Our group would happily book again!
Francesco and Angela were amazing hosts, the boat was spotlessly clean, the food INCREDIBLE (hand made pasta sauce better than a restaurant!) and the hospitality so friendly. We had a brilliant day and couldnt be happier. Made all the better with the photos Angela took throughout the day. Thank you so much :)
Unforgettable holiday for me, my wife and our 2 children thanks to the availability and courtesy of Angela and Francesco, who made us feel at home straight away... The places chosen by Francesco for the various stages were enchanting to say the least... the exceptional cuisine … A big thank you ❤️
***REPLY FROM THE OWNER IMMEDIATELY BELOW THE REVIEW*** We spent a week with Francesco and Angela. On a technical/nautical level, nothing to complain about, but it's difficult to feel on vacation when you feel like a guest in someone else's home. Not being able to access the refrigerator or having the freedom to make a coffee as soon as you wake up was limiting. Even the fact of always having to eat together we hadn't foreseen it, in other experiences we've had it hasn't been like this. If you are a carbohydrate lover Angela will not disappoint you.. the meals include only pasta/sandwiches/salad and a meat dinner. The breakfast is minimal: packaged biscuits, milk, alternatively egg .. and in any case you have to ask for them. Perhaps a little low given the €1200 galley paid (4 people/ports excluded) To clarify the concept of alcohol. They are not included, but if I decide to bring them, are they theirs too??? ***OWNER'S RESPONSE*** Dear Chiara, Thank you for the review. I can't reply to the sensations that are personal and in any case legitimate unless I'm sorry that they didn't live up to expectations. It would have been more useful to display them during the cruise so that we could try to satisfy them. However, I would just like to clarify the many omissions and lack of sincerity that I read in the review. First of all, you have chosen a cruise with skipper and hostess where guests are not expected to take care of any activities. The opposite would have been incorrect. We have satisfied all the expressed requests, the unsaid one (coffee at 6 in the morning) it was enough to ask and we would have worked. I am sorry that you did not enjoy our company for half an hour or so after dinner, since we weren't there for breakfast and for lunch we are not in the habit of eating anything but fruit. But even in this case it was enough to ask and not childishly sulk and protest afterwards: all six of us would have been happier. With regards to the 1200 € for 8 days for 4 people that you mistakenly attribute only to the galley, you know well from messages exchanged on the portal where I sent that the conditions included: -GALLEY: during the week we prepared you: among others: -spaghetti with clams , -penne with prawns which after the first course are second course, -spaghetti with sea cicadas which after the first course are second course, -mussel soute, -spaghetti alla carbonara, -scamerite and Maremma barbecued sausages -as well as tomato salads , pachino tomatoes. cucumbers etc. In addition to the numerous snacks for aperitifs with local salami from the Abruzzo hinterland, cheeses, guacamole etc. For breakfast every morning you were always offered scrambled eggs and we always prepared them for those who wanted them. We have always served quality biscuits, fruit juices, rusks, milk and coffee. You certainly can't make grandma's cakes… Reducing everything to a carbohydrate offer seems offensive to me. The two lunches with sandwiches of ham, cheese and mayonnaise were served because they were sailing there and back from the past to (7 hours) where you wanted to arrive even though I advised you against it. -FUEL (for the record, about 30 hours of engine c 4 liters/hour x €2.0 per liter = €240) -APERITIF (for the record, since you didn't like the non-alcoholic one, we offered you Aperol Spritz. I pass over the prosecco but two bottles of aperol cost around €30 which was not due as alcohol is not included -SHEETS AND TOWELS (€60) -FINAL CLEANING (€120) -GALLEY: during the week we prepared: among others: -spaghetti with clams , -penne with prawns which after the first course are second course, -spaghetti with sea cicadas which after the first course are second course, -mussel soute, -spaghetti alla carbonara, -scamerite and Maremma barbecued sausages -as well as tomato salads , pachino tomatoes, cucumbers etc. In addition to the numerous snacks for aperitifs with local salami from the Abruzzo hinterland, cheeses, guacamole etc. For breakfast every morning we always offered you scrambled eggs and we always prepared them for those who wanted them. always quality biscuits, fruit juices, rusks, milk and coffee. You certainly can't make grandma's cakes… Reducing everything to a carbohydrate offer seems offensive to me. The two lunches with sandwiches of ham, cheese and mayonnaise were served because they were sailing to and from Corsica (7 hours each) where you wanted to arrive even though I strongly advised against it. If you do the subtraction, you can understand what remains for the galley which has always been of high quality, varied and rich in protein (mostly purchased at the Coop). With regard to alcohol not included, as specified in the quote, I am pleased that the statement made on the pier relating to having accepted what YOU ALWAYS OFFERED US has now become a question. But unfortunately no one can answer you on this portal except me. However: THE CREW DOES NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANY EXPENSES AND THEY SHARE THE MEALS WITH THE GUESTS. OTHERWISE, THE GUESTS MUST ARRANGE A SEPARATE GALLEY FOR THE CREW, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THEIR NEEDS AND PREFERENCES. In any case, we have returned what you haven't even drunk, repeating the €30 you requested. Last but not least, I remind you that you have been offered two moorings in the buoy for safety reasons (€80) and avoided the costs (€100) of the diver necessary to recover the rear seat of the cockpit dropped by you in the water. You have not even respected the commitment to offer an aperitif on land as a symbolic reward. However, none of the camped complaints could justify the fact that you were leaving without paying the extra expenses that, out of delicacy, I did not ask you to pay when boarding. I had to detain you to remind you of what is due. I had to anyway. Best regards Francesco
Francesco and Angela…the couple you would like to have with you on any holiday occasion, be it sea or mountains! And you would never get tired of sailing with Sibilla! Cruise ?
Exemplary welcome and hospitality, simple and genuine cuisine and a deep knowledge of the sea made our long weekend truly fantastic
All consistent with our expectations. Francesco very kind and helpful. Expert sailor and excellent cook! Too bad only for the absence of wind but on this we didn't have levers available ...
Beautiful long weekend with Angela and Francesco: in addition to the 5 stars of the review, we must add the great availability and patience towards a lively group and the company that they made us: always present but never intrusive! The experience at the helm of Francesco gives serenity to the cruise and Angela's skills in the kitchen have added a gourmet touch to life on board. We definitely recommend them, but leave us a space for the next boarding!
A thousand thanks
