The boat itself was the only positive aspect - it looked like the pictures. But everything else about this experience was an absolute disaster. The problems started right from the beginning with the captain, Serge. Based on the reviews and our initial communications, we were expecting a welcoming, friendly, and service-oriented host. But Serge was the complete opposite - he was grumpy, arrogant, and downright rude to us the entire time. It started with the pickup location, which Serge had provided but turned out to be at a private port that we couldn't even access. When we tried to clarify, he acted like it was our fault and kept emphasizing that. And the actual sailing itinerary was a joke. On the first day, we barely moved at all. The next two days, we only sailed to two different locations, even though the whole point was to explore the coastline and see beautiful spots. When we politely asked if we could go somewhere else, Serge responded with”is this not good enough for you?". Unbelievable. Serge just did not seem to care at all about making this an enjoyable experience for us. He was grumpy, short-tempered, and confrontational the entire time. There were a few brief moments where he seemed friendly, but then he would quickly snap back into this irritable, arrogant mode for no reason. Overall, the experience fell well short of the professionalism, hospitality, and service quality that should be the standard for such a trip . The captain's behavior and the logistical shortcomings detracted significantly from what should have been an enjoyable and memorable trip.

My family of 5 spent the day on the Rare Bird with Serge as our skipper. We were particularly impressed with Serge's knowledge of the area and the waters along with his emphasis on weather and safety. The boat was comfortable and clean and Serge was great with the advance communications.
We had an amazing time on the Rare Bird together with Serge. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. We brought a lot of wing foiling and pump foiling gear, which was no problem at all. Serge brought us to all the places we wanted to see and shared his knowledg about sailing with us.
Serge is an exceptional host, attentive, friendly, passionate about the sea. A stay off the beaten track in August, with beaches almost without anyone, exceptional! We recommend it with our eyes closed.
Warm welcome, effective communication, punctuality++, enriching browsing experience, unique places visited, super awesome discussion with Serge! There were 7 of us and we had a great day with Serge on the Rare Bird! We swam, paddleboarded, dived from the boat and it was a great day! Thank you for the experience and the very good company.
