Boat rental in Corfu · — Excess 11 (2023)

Before reviewing the boat and skipper, I'd like to review the website, which unfortunately caused us so many problems. First of all, I booked a catamaran in Corfu. The ad specified Corfu Marina, but in the contract sent to me immediately after payment, I discovered that it was located in Lefkada, so somewhere completely different. I had to change our entire travel plan and destinations, not to mention the plane tickets, which I obviously lost the money for. So we rebooked flights to Lefkada. Once we arrived at our destination, still unaware that we hadn't been sent the skipper's phone number to organize an itinerary together, we headed where the contract indicated, that is, d-Marine (Lefkada marina). Once there, they told us that the boat wasn't there... our contact at Click&Boat was no longer answering calls or WhatsApp messages. Furthermore, in our group there was a pregnant woman who obviously couldn't stay in the sun for too long or continue walking with her suitcases looking for the boat. In the end, we discovered that the boat was in another marina (in the city of Ligia). So we took another taxi to reach this town. We finally managed to find the boat without any assistance from Click&Boat, which only caused us inconvenience from the start. Therefore, I strongly advise against using their service. Otherwise, everything was perfect. The skipper, Argi, was very friendly and accompanied us on a fantastic voyage, allowing us to discover the wonders of Greece. With his sailing experience, he took us to wonderful and isolated coves (not a given, considering it was the week of August 15th), recommending authentic places to spend the evenings ashore and typical, non-touristy restaurants. Ultimately, we became good friends and are still in touch today. The charter company that rented the boat was professional; the boat matched the description, and upon our arrival, it was very clean and well-maintained; everything on board was in working order. So, ultimately, we're happy we gritted our teeth to overcome the difficulties caused by Click&Boat. I don't recommend it!!! As for the boat experience, I encourage everyone to try it because it's fantastic and relaxing.
