Boat rental in Korčula · Elan — Express (1982)

It is a small sailboat that sails like a rocket. Renovated fully in spring 2021. Sails, rigging, and safety equipment from June 2019. All safety equipment required by law on board. There is a usb port for charging phones powered by a solar panel, as well as the fridge; a small kitchen. Cockpit has a bimini (sunshade) and beaches are reached by a by-boat/dinghy. Chemical toilet on board, unused out of preference and there for offshore sailing or dire needs, no shower. There is drinking water and sunblock in case you forget yours. Please note that I do not rent the boat as such - I invite you to sail with me as your skipper and/or sailing teacher. Also, I am currently doing daysail trips and sailing lessons, no overnighting, no charter. My guests are invited to participate in sailing to the extent that they wish. Usually, we do a mix of sailing lessons and relaxing on a boat on the water, stopping and anchoring to swim in a turquoise sea by picturesque uninhabited islets with scenic views to the mountains and other islands. I have 23 years of experience as a sailor, 7 of which captain on my boat as well as sailing other boats in the Caribbean, Atlantic, and Central Mediterranean. I also have years of experience in developing pedagogies of situated learning and a passion for teaching. I listen to and do not underestimate the elements, even when this divine corner of the Earth seems to be easy-going. Safety is first and pleasure comes easy then. The price does NOT include food and drinks (for you and the skipper), fuel and mooring costs, if any (normally fuel costs are zero or very low, mooring costs zero). The price is based on 2 persons' booking. If more persons wish to book the price changes accordingly.
