We booked a boat trip on Saturday, but apparently other people had booked for the same date, which resulted in our reservation being rescheduled... without any clear communication about it. The only directions we received for the location were "Porte de la Pointe Rouge," which was insufficient. We tried to contact them several times, and they didn't answer until the fifth call. Once there, the boat was very nice and the day was pleasant. However, we were told there was a waterproof case, but not a watertight one... As a result, our camera, although packed, got wet and was no longer operational. Another point: the fuel had to be paid for upon arrival, even though we thought everything had already been paid for when we booked. In summary: a great boat trip, but a major lack of communication, "misleading" information about the equipment (the boat's trunk), and ultimately one less camera...

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with the Boti boat company (I am not sure of the name). When renting a boat without a license on 01/08/2024 we encountered several problems: Weather conditions: Despite a significant swell, the boat was launched. This put our safety at risk and led to a dangerous situation at sea. Watertightness problems: The boat took on water in a worrying way, and the trunk that was supposed to be waterproof was not because the company let us leave without the plug that kept the water in. We lost several important personal belongings, including mobile phone, battery, chargers, books, food, not to mention our soaked clothes that we could not wear to return. Lack of response: Incident management and communication with customer service were very unsatisfactory. No concrete solution was offered to compensate for the losses and inconvenience. The company has refused to refund our rental and also refuses to provide me with a copy of our rental agreement so that I can arrange with my insurance. I would strongly advise against this company for anyone considering renting a boat. The poor incident management is unacceptable. I recommend you look elsewhere to avoid the serious inconvenience we have experienced.
