Before reading the description of my boat, please note that it is available for rent for a minimum of one full week (from Saturday at noon to the following Saturday at 10:00 AM, or Friday evening at 6:00 PM). Please complete your boating resume on the website before making a rental request; a coastal skipper's license is required. Owner's boat, in excellent condition and very well maintained, based in Saint Mandrier, Var 83 (Toulon Bay) Length 12 meters, beam 4 meters, draft 2 meters • 3 cabins with storage • Complete offshore safety equipment for 8 people • Electronic equipment: 2 GPS units, AIS, fixed and handheld VHF radios, Sarsat beacon • 2 steering wheels • Mainsail on Z Diffusion mast furler • Genoa on Facnor furler • Life raft, 2 anchors (Spade and Delta) • Volvo 55 hp sail drive engine, 3-blade folding propeller • Dinghy with 2.5 hp 4-stroke engine • 2 solar panels Ready for your coastal or offshore cruising!

Boat in very good condition, very equipped for cruising. We were 5 adult friends for 1 week, it was even great! Alain is particularly rigorous, especially on the documentation on board which helps to get started very quickly.

I could say that Alain is a great owner, that he is flexible on schedules, that we were received with a (good) bottle of rosé to start our vacation. I could also tell you that "The Sea Cat" is a very well maintained sailboat inside and out, which makes it a boat that glides on the water and is pleasant to live with. Finally I could tell you that Porquerolles, Port-Cros, the translucent water, the sunrises and sunsets are superb... But if I tell you all that, you will be more and more renting Alain's 405GL, so less choice in the dates for me to take it back. Because it's sure: I'LL BE BACK!

The Sea Cat is a very beautiful boat, easy to maneuver, comfortable and efficient even in light weather which allowed us to spend a magnificent week in the Golden Islands with the family. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and the configuration of the kitchen and the saloon perfect for organizing life on board, even with young children. Thanks to Alain for his welcome and his wise advice which allowed us to take full advantage of this week at sea. I highly recommend !

We had a very good week with 4 adults and 4 kids aboard The SeaCat. Alain was welcoming and took the necessary time for explanations. The boat is very well equipped, maintained and clean. Its large water and fuel tank capacity and safety equipment make it a good boat for offshore sailing. Reassuring and perfect for family sailing. The boat is not intended to be very sporty (GV on reel and genoa carriage not adjustable) but it remains effective as soon as the wind rises. The rear shelf a little high is not very simple for returns bathing. The solar panels provided at the installation will be a real plus for complete autonomy at anchor. Thank you to Alain for these beautiful holidays.

Excellent rental with Alain. The boat conforms to the announcement. The boat is ideal for a family cruise, combining comfort and performance. I highly recommend this dufour 405 GL very well maintained. The navigation area is top. Porquerolles is accessible in 2 hours. We were 7 on board for a week and everything went well. Alain is available by phone when necessary. He advised us on anchorages and places to see.
Very good contact with Alain who was able to adapt to our time constraints. We appreciated the space and the many storage space on board as well as the very complete equipment. (crockery, do-it-yourself, water and electricity connections) The great glacial and the autonomy in water and electricity is a big plus for the anchorages forains several days in a row; without forgetting the 50m of chains and the pick that is anchored easily. Boat easy to take in hand and take where you want. The swim ladder is very problematic in the state but should be changed quickly. The port of Saint-Mandrier is ideally located to go to the islands of Hyères or Corsica; with ample free parking near the dock. A flat on the lack of fuel pump in the port; Alain has chosen to charge fuel in engine hours which is not necessarily advantageous for those who like us favor the reduced pace. Overall a very good boat and a nice boss that I highly recommend.
