Perfec trip and communication!

Andrea, Antonio and Miriam were very efficient in dealing with our last minute request to hire their Ranieri Soverato. They facilitated our adventure along the coast of Alghero to Capo Caccio and back. Highly recommend Ares Turismo if you are looking for something different during your stay on the island. Globaly I was satisfied. My only regret is not to have had the same boat as displayed in the picture. I was given an explanition of double booking issure which I absolutely not believe. There were too many ads with the same picture everywhere and I understand that it was not possible to have the same boat in several instances. Just I would have appreciated to be told the truth not to be considered as an idiot. Best regards.

We‘ve had a great day ! Frankly, there is not that much to see but it‘s very relaxing to bring a pick- nick and chill in one of those bays . I can recommend it!

Overall, good experience: good communication, friendly staff, reasonable price. However, the boat I paid for was not the one I got. Andrea publishes a picture of a new Ranieri Soverato 545 that has nothing to do with the one I got. It would be better to show customers the actual boat they are paying for. Having said this, the boat we got was fine to enjoy a day in Alghero coast.

Perfect! top quality service. I'm from the UK and renting abroad with a language barrier can be nerving. Andrea spoke perfect English (thankyou) and explained where to go/fuel refilling/areas to avoid/insurance etc. I will be recommending here to anyone coming to Sardinia. Marcia sends her thanks too.

Good value for money Warm welcome

Although we arrived on time before the rental began, the rental contract could not be 'found' at first, so a married couple was processed before us and we annoyingly had to wait.?? The boat was handed over afterwards and the delay was added to our return time at 6 p.m. (+ 20 minutes), which was positive.? The cleanliness and maintenance condition of the boat leave a lot to be desired on the outside?, although everything in all worked perfectly, especially the 40 HP AB?. When returning to the harbor, you need to know the following: After consuming 3/4 of 48 liters of gasoline = 36 liters, we wanted to fill up the boat again at the harbor gas station and were therefore there before 6 p.m. The gas station was not manned at the time, however?. After calling, the gas station attendant wanted to be there at 6 p.m. The couple who had already got in our way during the handover also wanted to fill up there, but probably had an earlier return time than us and didn't want to risk a late fee, so they called the attendant to cancel. The result: the attendant didn't come at 6:00 p.m. as agreed. After another phone call, he wanted to be there at 6:15 p.m. That was too close to the agreed return time for us, so we went to the meeting point. The fuel used had to be paid for on the spot: 36 l x €2.00 = €72.00 in cash! However, that is also the usual price for VK Super in Germany. Since we didn't have enough cash with us, the landlord of ARES was kind enough to waive the remaining €8.00.? Nevertheless, we can say that we spent a wonderful day on the boat in a paradisiacal water world with beautiful bathing bays, which we can definitely recommend. The small imponderables are quickly forgotten, especially since pragmatic solutions were found. But maybe we should just approach the issues too ?? and adapt more to the ?? way of life.??

Unfortunately, we relied too much on the positive reviews so far... and didn't check everything beforehand. The anchor was attached to the wrong end of the anchor with cable ties. This caused us to drift away and a dangerous situation arose with another boat. So we simply couldn't anchor. In addition, there were no life jackets on board and the anchor rope was not attached to the boat, which meant that we almost lost the anchor... . In addition, we were not informed about the approaching wind and relatively strong waves (for the boat)... On a positive note, I can say that the lady was very nice and at least we got a discount on the gas costs... .

They changed the boat at the last minute for an inferior one, unprepared, dirty and with a damaged propeller. If I hadn't noticed, they would have made me pay for it. They are not reliable. Nice words and apologies. They lowered the price for us, but that is enough. Unprofessional.

Everything was great and uncomplicated. The only drawback is the ladder: a bit too short and the rungs are made of round tubes...that really hurts when you're barefoot. But overall everything is great!

Wonderful day. The boat is fine. Good size and recent Yamaha 4-stroke engine, so consumption is very reasonable. Only small downside. 4 vests on board and no child size. And 30 minutes late this morning. I recommend anyway.

The rent worked without any problems. Despite initial uncertainties regarding the booking times (booking time via Click&Boat 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and landlord 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) we were promptly served and the rental period corrected to 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The guide was very nice and helpful, even if your English skills were rather rudimentary. Communication was possible thanks to Google Translator. I would book here again.

Unfortunately we did not get the boat that we booked. But quite another. Supposedly it was broken. Later it was no longer at the investor. We were also informed on site. A shame! The communication was easy and uncomplicated.

Beautiful coastline!

We borrowed Andreas Boot, for a day trip. Andrea was not able to do it, Nico stepped in. He showed us the most beautiful bays and bathing places around Alghero. It was a beautiful day and everything worked fine. The communication in English, was very good both with Andrea in advance, as well as with Nico. As already read in the other comments, there was also a cool box with ice cubes available. Andrea also asks about the sunset tour. We spontaneously booked and were not disappointed either.

A perfect deal, I attended a guy named Marco was very attentive and nice. We will repeat!

It lacks depth indicator and stereo equipment

We rented a boat from Andrea for two weeks. Andrea is very helpful, speaks very good English and is really nice too. Minor defects were corrected immediately. The boat was fueled and cleaned every morning, there was always someone there who helped with mooring. There was a fridge with ice cream every day, a really good service. The boat was a bit older, so had some damage, but it did not bother us, as it was not limited in the benefit.
