Description of Jeremy's catamaran
Catamaran Robertson & Caine Leopard 44 13m
Our Leopard 44 is a super spacious, well-equipped catamaran that's perfect for anything from relaxed day charters to multi-day adventures. She has 4 double cabins plus two forepeak berths, comfortably sleeping up to 8 people. On deck there’s loads of space to stretch out, a forward cockpit that’s ideal for watching the sunset with a drink in hand, and a big swim platform so you can just slip straight into the sea. She’s got everything you need on board: a full galley for cooking up meals, electric winches, autopilot, chartplotter, solar panels, a dinghy with outboard for exploring ashore, and a Bluetooth sound system for your playlists. Safety-wise, she's fully kitted out with life jackets, a liferaft, EPIRB, VHF, and all the required signaling gear. We’ve had this Leopard 44 for a few years now, and she’s been our base for everything from fun family days along the Costa Brava to lazy weekends at anchor in hidden coves—and even the occasional longer escape to the Balearic Islands. We’re based in El Masnou, just a little north of Barcelona. It’s the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the beautiful Catalan coast. You can head north to discover the dramatic cliffs and turquoise coves of the Costa Brava, stop for lunch in seaside villages, or anchor overnight in places that feel a world away from the city. For longer trips, the Balearics are right there waiting, with endless beaches and lively marinas. We bought this yacht because we wanted something comfortable, safe, and above all—fun! Whether it’s a quick day out with friends or a proper cruise to the islands, she’s got everything you need. We chose El Masnou because it’s close to home, easy for guests to get to from Barcelona, and perfectly placed to explore the Med.
