Pierre was exceptionally generous with his time and help to reach the boat and provision it. His friend, Serge, was our skipper and he too was especially friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this owner and boat to any family wishing to tour the Med east of Marseille. Scott Speirs (Australia)
Stardust works well, despite its age. Pierre is very good at communicating, very responsive and really helpful. I recommend it - and the rental is very good value for money.
Pierre is super well organized. He takes the time needed to do the Check in and explain how his boat works. Departure old port return Ensues la redonne mooring a little more complicated than in a classic port, but Pierre has thought of everything. You just have to follow his instruction sheet step by step. The 2015 boat is comfortable. And the large cockpit with its two steering wheels is very appreciable. A small revision of a few elements is necessary, but nothing abnormal for a 10-year-old boat. We had a great weekend on Stardust' even if we missed the wind.
An incredible stay on this boat departing from the old port with Pierre who is attentive to all requests before, during and after! Thank you and see you soon!
We had a great weekend with friends on the Stardust! Very nice boat, comfortable and in good condition. With a special mention for the skipper Serge who made this stay magnificent! Thanks to Pierre for the quality of our exchanges. I recommend without moderation!?
Pierre is available to prepare the navigation and provide some advice. When taking charge, Pierre takes care to explain all the elements! The boat is very well maintained. The boat is comfortable for 5-6 people. Thank you for this rental
Great stay on this sailboat, nothing to complain about, easy boat to sail, well equipped and maintained. I recommend! Thanks again Pierre and maybe see you soon. Solal
We arrived for boarding on Friday evening and as anticipated a few hours before by Mr. Pierre's port of embarkation was not the Vieux Port of Marseille, but rather a small port (Calanque Ensuses La Redonne) about 30 minutes west of Marseille. As soon as we boarded Stardust we noticed an approximate cleanliness both internally and externally. Once the loading phase was completed during check-in we immediately noticed some important anomalies: to. The VHF was not working (the VHF antenna was positioned on the dinette shelf) b. The bathroom lights did not work, as did the lights in the starboard aft cabin c. The main halyard was undersized so much so that he recommended that we always keep the main halyard on the winch as the cleat would not block it as it was too thin; d. The external electrical socket in the cockpit (the one for connection to the shore socket) was broken; And. The boat was not clean (mold in all corners of the ceiling, cabinets and very dirty dishes). f. The Lazy bag was broken; g. The awning is not present. Not all these problems were resolved the next day and we left the port of Corbieres Port Services where we had gone for maintenance activities at 4pm on Saturday. Once the week is over, as indicated, we return to the port of Corbieres Port the following Friday evening to leave the boat the next morning by 8:00 as per the contract. At 02.00 at night, while we were sleeping, the following week's crew boarded the boat, having arrived the evening before as Mr. Pierre had written to him that the boat was available from Friday. We have not investigated further how the exchange of messages between Mr. Pierre and the crew who appeared on the boat at 2.00 am went. Finally, two days after leaving Stardust, I receive from Mr. Pierre the invoice for the port on Friday 14th night, which should not be at our expense but, after pointing out that it was not specified in the contract, I made the payment directly payment at Corbieres Port.
Superb stay aboard Stardust. Thanks to Pierre for his flexibility, his advice and his availability throughout the cruise! Everything went very well. I highly recommend a cruise with this Dufour.
Great stay on this beautiful boat, very easy to maneuver. Thank you Pierre for your flexibility. The skipper was great with my children and very educational with me who is just starting out. To be done again with pleasure :-)
Great stay near Marseille with 5 friends! Pierre is very friendly and super accommodating ?? I recommend, the boat is great and well maintained
Pierre, the owners, was very friendly and welcoming. The pretty boat runs well and the equipment is very complete.
Good morning, We spent a week on the Dufour35GL boat. The crew of 4 guys made the trip from Marseille to St Tropez and back with 3 nights at anchor and 3 nights in port. The boat is very well equipped and well maintained by Pierre who is very welcoming. We had 2 days at 25 Nd, no problem for this ship. I highly recommend. Dmitry
All good thanks to Pierre.
Excellent rental, thanks to Pierre for his flexibility and communication, the boat is well maintained and very comfortable, I will come back with pleasure!
Pierre offers a Dufour 350 large large in good condition and with a very good price/performance ratio. He obviously follows the maintenance of his boat with attention. He is also particularly accommodating and can be reached very easily during the cruise if necessary. For more facilities, it is better to organize yourself to take your boat from its home port served by the SNCF, Ensuès-la-Redonne, a few nautical miles from Marseille, even if it is still possible to pick it up in Marseille
Thanks Peter!
We are very happy with this rental, we had a wonderful time with Serge the skipper, who was an excellent teacher. The trip from Lyon was particularly comfortable as we were met and dropped off by Serge at Aix station. We will gladly rent again.
Great experience for a weekend on Pierre's boat! Pierre was very accommodating and attentive to our needs for the preparation of the wk. I highly recommend ! The boat is very well equipped and its departure gate in winter at Ensues gives it back is quite charming. THANKS !
Pierre is very welcoming, knows his boat well and allows you to handle it very well. We were safe and Stardust's performance was perfect for our crew. Pierre did everything to make our navigation go as well as possible! We will happily sail again with Stardust. Thank you very much Peter!
Nickel - nothing to say
Very good exchange with Pierre before the rental, flexible and friendly. Very comfortable boat for cruising and ballading (self-tacking jib, possibility of deporting the boom to the side in order to free the cockpit at anchor). Less if performance is sought (no mainsail traveler, no jib/mainsail overlap). Jib furler to be repaired it got stuck during the outing. But very good release.
Excellent week spent on Pierre's boat which is in good condition. Pierre welcomed us very pleasantly, the crew and I had an excellent stay. To renew!
Very good boat in perfect condition Well equipped well maintained Very friendly and professional helpful owner
