An absolutely amazing experience. The crew on the boat were experienced and they took us to the most exquisite islands. The lunch and snacks on board were great too (plenty to feed 8 college-bound students!) and we had an amazing time snorkeling around the fish and coral as well. The trip was for the whole day, but the timing lined up perfectly so that we were sailing back to the pier with the sunset in front of us. So beautiful and refreshing. Easily the best part of our Thailand trip, and we cannot thank Dan and the crew enough for their amazing service. If you don't try out this charter while you're in Phuket, then you're seriously missing out!
Overall, a great time. Responsive owner made it easy to get any questions answered. Food on board was delicious. However, in our snack basket there were chips that I was particularly looking forward to, but after coming back on board from swimming, they had been eaten by the crew. While our guide was very nice, there seemed to be communication issues. We were supposed to go to two islands. She told us that the second one would be more crowded and recommended staying longer at the first. We agreed. But then there never was a second island. As we got closer to harbor they stopped for sunset. I asked if we were going to the other island. She seemed confused and asked why we needed to go there and if we need to go. I explained that it was a part of the itinerary and that even though they had us stay longer at the first island we still wanted to go to the second. She said it would be too late and that we had to get back. So, that was really disappointing. They also took a lot of photos. Which was nice to a point because we did want pictures taken. But they kept asking and wanted to take photos on their own cameras for advertising. I was fine with it, but it did become a bit much and turned more into a photoshoot than relaxing. Regardless, it was still a good time and we were happy to have had the experience.
