A well equipped 35 foot sail cruiser she has 5 berths including a one bow cabin with 2 single berths and 3 single berths in saloon. All comfortable for 5 peoples,the kitchen is equipped with electrical appliances for use in the port, and a powerful stereo system with a subwoofer is built into the saloon.GPS navigation system at helm. Cocpit comfortable for 6 adults and OK for 8 with stern to boarding available. The aft cockpit area for relaxing in port or at anchor. She has a the good old reliable and simple Yanmar 10 hp which has never been quiet, but given that the boat is sailingboat, you won’t have to listen to it for a long time. Comfortable speed is 4 knots, although it can go faster. All mod cons and a little yacht in good condition make for a comfortable few days or even a week or longer aboard.Based in the central location Stockholm Shanty offers either bare boat or skippered charters around Stockholms arhipelago which are considered some of the most beautiful sailing areas in the world.You can be sailing within minutes of leaving your berth, heading out to one of the many harbours within a days sailing, or anchoring in one of the picturesque bays.There are many places to visit. Its a modified Hallberg-Rassy 352 (a little smaller than a standard one) which can cause some confusion, but a good value for money offer with a friendly and helpful owner.
If we could we would give minus stars, unfortunately the worst possible rating is only 1 star. The boat was not handed over to us by the boat owner. His representative spoke neither English, German, Swedish, Spanish, French nor Italian: the handover was wordless and incomplete. We were not given an electric land cable. The boat was in unkempt condition. Personal belongings of the boat owner were scattered everywhere. The onboard toilet and septic tank stunk terribly even after we vacuumed them ourselves. There were no nautical charts on board and, according to the boat owner, the echo sounder was no longer functional even before the handover. The GPS plotter was connected with exposed cables and there was a loose connection from the start and there was an increased risk of accidents due to the exposed cables. During the course of the boat rental, the plotter repeatedly failed completely because the battery did not seem to have enough voltage. First of all, this boat is NOT SAFE: we had an engine failure, the starter suddenly failed, so we were unable to go to port and had to be towed. An inspection of the engine compartment showed everything to be in poor condition with corrosion damage. In the further course the whole bottom of the ship was flooded with fresh water (probably a leak in the water tank), we had to lift the bottom of the boat at sea and skim off the water by hand (approx. 100L). The furling genoa did not work properly and the sail tore at the seams in slightly stronger wind conditions, so that it was no longer usable. Overall, you can not recommend this boat and this landlord !!!
people have absolutely no idea what devices are on board the yacht and how to use them. Inept use leads to breakdowns. Genoa is torn in two places. The tenants left the boat and did not wait for the receiver to document the damages.
