Eric welcomed us very warmly and is an accommodating owner. His Sunfast 36 is a good boat, well-maintained, functional, and efficient, and we spent an excellent week on it. Thank you for your trust, and see you soon.

Our cruise on Eric's boat went really well! Three days between Lorient, Groix, and Belle-Ile. The sailing and anchorages were superb. The boat is fast at all speeds and handles well. It's also comfortable for everyday use on board. There were eight of us, four adults and four children, and we really had a wonderful time. Eric welcomed us warmly and provided excellent advice on how to prepare for the cruise. The inventory is meticulous, and all the sailboat's specifications were clearly communicated to us. Highly recommended!

Eric is a friendly and accommodating owner regarding arrival and departure times, which is very pleasant. He is extremely meticulous in establishing the boat's arrival and return status, which is very reassuring. However, he forced us, under penalty of immediate cancellation of the rental, to sign a new rental agreement specific to him and without reference to the Click&Boat platform. He also wanted a €3,000 security deposit, which was never mentioned when we booked on the website. We vigorously refused, and Eric finally agreed to our request. His boat is a very beautiful vessel, fast, powerful, and well-balanced. On the other hand, it suffers from a chronic lack of maintenance, which makes it unfit for sailing under normal safety conditions: • The genoa halyard broke the first time this sail was unfurled. We replaced it with the spinnaker halyard, whose jammer didn't hold the necessary tension for sufficient tension. • The tiller stick was held in place with adhesive tape, which was certainly sturdy but didn't hold. • The dinghy, which was clearly not checked between charters (full of sand), was leaking air and taking on water, which was very unpleasant even at low intensity. • The mechanical windlass was jammed. Luckily, there were four of us on board the day after a night spent at anchor. • The gas stove required constant pressure on the ignition buttons, otherwise the gas could go out. Unless you could block them with a fork or knife, you could do so. Not to mention the lack of adjustable rails that allow for locking a pot. All this didn't prevent us from fully enjoying the boat's performance, as there were four of us on board who have been sailing together for about twenty years, all very athletic, including an experienced sailor. The purpose of this comment is not to harm the owner, who can take all the necessary corrective measures, but to protect future crews, smaller and less experienced, from a potentially very bad experience. Writing this comment took me a long time because I wanted it to be factual, objective, and impartial. - Response from the owner: -- Hello, I'll go over these points one by one: - The genoa halyard broke, even though it was only two years old, and I had turned it upside down this year. I couldn't have foreseen this incident. - The stick mount is bolted, not taped! The tape only protects my hands from being scratched by the bolts. - The dinghy isn't leaking at all, only its floor is deflating. As for the sand in the wheels, it may have escaped my notice, I admit. - The manual windlass is working normally, so it's slow, and I'm hauling in the anchor by hand, all by myself, and yet I'm no Superman! - The stove is well equipped with pot holders; they're stored in the large cutlery drawer. One of the three safety bimetallic strips is slow to heat up, and you have to hold the button down for a long time. I've changed it twice, but nothing helps. I admit it's unpleasant, but absolutely not dangerous. Mr. Olivier Hervé's comment calls for action on my part, and I will respond to it in order to cut short any discussion: I will immediately replace the genoa halyard and the dinghy, and better protect the stick support. A new gas stove and an electric windlass are planned for next year. This will eliminate all the defects noted or exaggerated. However, I regret that we have reached the point of writing. A great weekend for 5 with difficult conditions. Clean and easy to handle boat, the electronics could be reviewed to improve the experience. Eric was super accommodating on our arrival, we recommend!

We spent a 4-day weekend with friends aboard Eric's Sun Fast 36. It is a boat of old design but which holds the sea very well and is relatively efficient compared to boats of its generation. The ship is very well maintained (with love) by Eric. It is very well laid out and equipped for navigation. The electronics are a little old-fashioned. Eric is a very kind and attentive owner. The handling of the boat was very complete. Eric gave us a lot of very useful advice to make our weekend a success. The quality-price ratio is rather good. I will happily rent Eric's boat again.

We rented the boat for a weekend in Groix. Eric was very accommodating and made himself available despite our last minute reservation.

Great weekend spent aboard ECAMA2, there were 7 of us on board and we enjoyed the great performance of this boat despite its age, it is still fast. However, we were very crowded in the cockpit with 7 of us, that's the only problem. I would happily rent it again but with fewer crew members. Thanks Eric

Eric's Sun Fast is a great, very seaworthy boat, very fast and comfortable for 6 people. There could be some improvements to the equipment but we had a great weekend, Eric was very available to us.

Great boat!

Eruc was very welcoming and available upstream of the boat. His experience as a pro skipper and regattié is felt in the maintenance of the boat. The latter is very healthy, efficient and pleasant. Of course, he expects the tenants to be respectful of his boat.

Very disappointing rental. I had to argue with the owner so that he did not take 2X3000€ deposit. The boat is in its own juice and patched up Owner response: “This comment is very surprising, especially when compared to the praise usually received by Ecama2! Note that this tenant "forgot" to clean and store the boat before leaving, and was unpleasant. I therefore advise other owners not to rent their boat to him. Eric"

We enjoyed racing with Philippe's boat. The new battened mainsail is superb. Philippe left us his regatta spinnaker. There may be a lack of a footrest for the helmsman for the close-hauled edges. Thanks to Philippe for all his advice, we will certainly rent his boat again.

High-performance and well-maintained boat, ideal for our week of cabotage in the bay of Quiberon. With its well adjusted sails, we are spinning, it is pleasant to see moving away behind the "new generation" boats. Saloon and wide and very comfortable cockpit for 7. Very warm welcome and support from Eric, rich in advice. A small camping hammer is recommended if your back does not like a hard bed. A superb week, beautiful landscapes for the passengers and pleasure of sailing for the crew!

Ecama 2 is an excellent, rigorously maintained boat. We were 7 on it for 1 day to go around Groix. No complaints. Eric welcomed us warmly and advised us very well. I highly recommend.

Short walk in Groix as a couple with 4 children from 11 to 21 years old. Eric greeted us with a coffee and pains au chocolat enjoyed by the children before leaving. Eric is a very pedagogue and knew how to interest children in navigation: it was a real pleasure for them and for us to see them having such a good time. To do again with pleasure and thank you again to Eric.

Eric is a meticulous person who takes care of his boat. He will take the time to tour his boat and his inventory, something which is not always so well done and which allows you to get used to the boat. There were 6 of us on the boat and it was extremely comfortable. The departure from Lorient allows several very nice destinations. We spent a week on Eric's boat at 6. The boat met expectations clean and comfortable. No luck the water heater dropped a few days before our arrival (cold water shower it stings a bit). Eric is conscientious, and knows how to accompany the handling of the boat in detail. She is perfectly maintained, and sometimes a better result than newer boats. However, agree with him the exact rental terms so as not to expose yourself to unpleasant surprises.
