Description of Nigel's sailboat
Sailboat Jenneau Sun Odyssey 49 14.98m
We've got the drinks, we've got the music, we've got the snacks and we've got a great sailing yacht for you to rock the boat. Come sailing in Lisbon and join in the fun. Our boat depart from Doca de Santo Amaro, just 3.7km from downtown Lisbon, with it's a former warehouses having been transformed into bars and restaurants, a great place to meet. After welcoming you aboard our Jeanneau 49, the tour begins by sailing under the iconic bridge and past the Statue of Christ while the friendly crew serves the champagne and delicious homemade snacks. Cruising on towards the Torre de Belem, where fantastic photo opportunities present themselves, you can hear some interesting facts about this great city. Now's your chance to take the wheel, steer the yacht and learn a few of the intracracies of sailing. Lazing on deck in the warm sunshine is also popular with our guests. As the Castle of Sao Jorge, Lisbon Cathedral and the old town comes floating into view the river opens up to wide vistas of Expo, the Vasco de Gama Bridge and even the hills of Arrabida to the south. The 2 hour cruise now returns to the marina to finish off the last of the bubbly. On the day trip we now continue on to visit Alcochete or seixal where we can anchor off the beach for a swim. After which we go ashore for sightseeing and lunch alfresco in an excelent fish restaurant. Both of these quaint fishing villages are well worth a visit and alcochete has a stunning nature reserve with wild flamingos and an historical museum. Finally heading home to the marina to finish off the last of the bubbly, we feel sure that Sailing with Nigel will have been a very memorable experience. # Included on prices: - VAT - skipper - Fuel - Final Cleaning - Snacks If you have any question, please let us know!
